Athletic Hall of Fame Committee Members
Earl Peck (Co-Chair) - Retired NAHS Mathematics teacher; has served for 45 years in various capacities in the NAHS Athletics department.
Terry Stewart (Co-Chair) - Fine athlete at NAHS in the 1960's who maintains a deep interest in community sports and school matters at NAHS. One of the founders of this committee.
Andrew Leh - Prominent athlete in the 1950's and son of the "Father of NAHS Athletics" Andrew S. Leh, for whom our stadium at NAHS is named.
Lou Skrapits - Faithful supporter and veteran worker for many years with the NAHS athletics department, observer and worker at literally thousands of NAHS athletic events.
Dale Johnson - Outstanding athlete in the 1950's and long time NAHS Athletic Director, ushering in many new sports and taking the department into the modern age of high school athletics.
Barry Boyer - The winningest boys basketball coach in NAHS history both in number and percentage of wins; a member of 5 different HOF organizations after a sterling playing career in high school and college basketball.
Ronald Lewis - Retired NAHS Educator and Coach; Head Track and Field Coach Boys and started the first Girls Track and Field Team, served as Associate Head Coach in Football, was also a head and assistant coach at Pen Argyl and Liberty High Schools.
Steve Shiffert - Outstanding athlete at NAHS in the late 1960's; gained fame as the winningest Head Coach in history of Easton High School Football; a member of numerous HOF organizations for his accomplishments.
Joanna (Rampulla) Kovacs Royer - Premier multi-sport female athlete in NAHS history. Played Field Hockey, Basketball, Track and Softball for Nazareth. Recipient of the Ideal Female Athlete Award 1979. Long time Physical Education Instructor at Stroudsburg Area School District and coach at Bethlehem Catholic High School. Mother of Professional Track and Field Athlete Joe Kovacs, 2x Olympian, 2020 and 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist and 2 x World Champion 2015, 2019 in the Shot Put.
Jason Brown - Considered as one of the most active baseball coaches in the Nazareth Area and a huge history buff of NAHS sports.
Rollie Pastor - Prominent athlete at NAHS in the early 1990's; coached at NAHS and at multiple locations.
Carl Strye - Loyal and committed supporter for the NAHS Athletic Department; Former Mayor and Councilman for the Borough of Nazareth; Actively involved in community affairs and local emergency organizations.
Ruth Ann McCay - One of first and most respected coaches in NAHS history; serving now in an advisory capacity. Past voting member of the committee.
